Visaka Mail is an organizational email application for authorized Visaka Industries users. It uses work-account and device information only to provide, secure, and administer company email access. It does not sell personal data or display advertising.
Who operates Visaka Mail
Visaka Mail is operated by Visaka Industries Limited for its authorized workforce. This policy describes how information is handled when an employee or other authorized user enrolls and uses the application.
Information handled
- Work-account information verified through Microsoft, including organizational email address, display name, and account identifier.
- Email information requested by the signed-in user, including message headers, bodies, senders, recipients, folders, and attachments.
- Device and enrollment information, including enrollment identifier, device name or model, operating-system version, app version, policy status, notification registration, and operational timestamps.
- Service diagnostics, policy results, connectivity state, update status, and security or audit events needed to operate and protect the service.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate authorized users, display and manage work email, provide notifications, support offline access, enforce organizational security policies, approve or revoke enrolled devices, diagnose failures, deliver app updates, and maintain security and administrative audit records.
Service providers and disclosure
Visaka Mail communicates with Microsoft services to authenticate users and provide organizational email. Google Firebase Cloud Messaging is used to deliver notification signals. Hosting, database, and security providers may process limited information on behalf of Visaka Industries to operate the service. Information may also be available to authorized Visaka administrators and may be disclosed when required by law. Personal data is not sold and is not used for advertising.
Storage, security, and retention
Information is transmitted using encrypted HTTPS connections. Recent mail content may be stored in encrypted, application-private storage to support fast and offline access. Android backup and data extraction are disabled for protected app data. Server-side enrollment, notification, diagnostic, and audit records are retained only as needed for service operation, organizational security, employment and records-management requirements, and applicable law.
User choices and deletion
Users may disable notification permission in Android settings. Signing out, administrator selective wipe, unenrollment, or uninstalling the app removes protected local Visaka Mail data as applicable. Removing local app data does not delete messages held in the organization's Microsoft email service. Authorized users may request access correction, enrollment removal, or deletion of eligible service records through their Visaka IT administrator or the contact below.
Children
Visaka Mail is a workplace application and is not directed to children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the application, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
